Delivery process

Our software development process, step by step

Four stages: a written spec, short sprints with working builds, a review before launch, and a plan to scale. You see progress at every step.

  • Written spec before work starts
  • Working builds each sprint
  • Milestone payments

Stage 1: how does the spec stage work?

It starts with a message to us on WhatsApp or Telegram. Tell us what you want to build, who will use it, your timeline and any integrations. We then hold a scoping conversation and write down what we heard.

You receive a written scope, an architecture outline, a list of what is in and out of the first release, and a price range. The price is a written quote, not a verbal estimate. Nothing is built until you agree the scope. Typical ranges are on the pricing page.

Stage 2: what happens during sprints?

Work runs in short sprints, typically one to two weeks. Each sprint opens with a planning call and ends with a working build you can click through, not a slide deck.

  • Features are built in the agreed order, so the most important parts arrive first.
  • Every change is reviewed by a second engineer and tested before it merges.
  • You get a short written update after each sprint with what is done, what changed and what is next.
  • Feedback from you shapes the next sprint, within the agreed scope.

Payment follows milestones tied to what has been delivered. Typical timelines are about 30 to 45 days for a fixed-scope MVP sprint and about 8 to 16 weeks for a larger product, and they depend on scope and on timely feedback.

Stage 3: what is reviewed before launch?

Before release we run a review of the whole system. That covers a code and architecture review, a test pass on the main user flows, a check of access control, secrets handling, input validation and backups, and a rehearsal of the release and the rollback.

For projects that touch money, such as payments, wallets or commission engines, we also go through the money paths line by line. For smart contracts, a security review reduces risk but cannot remove it, and an independent audit is the client's decision. Nobody can promise that software is free of bugs.

Launch is the start of real data. We help you watch errors, slow queries and costs, then plan the next releases from what users actually do. Some clients keep us on a dedicated pod for steady work, some move maintenance in house, and some come back for a new fixed-scope phase.

At handover you receive the repositories, deployment notes and runbooks. The code and accounts are yours from the first day, and we sign an NDA on request.

What are the limits of this process?

A good process lowers risk and removes surprises. It does not remove all of them. Scope changes, slow decisions, third-party delays and unclear requirements can all move a date or a price, and we raise them early with an updated written estimate rather than hide them. We do not promise launch dates, user numbers, revenue or approval from any app store or regulator. See our tech stack for the tools we use.

Questions about custom software builders in United States

What do I need to send to get a quote?

Send a short message on WhatsApp or Telegram with what you want to build, who will use it, your target timeline, and any chains, payment providers or systems it must connect to. A rough idea is enough. We ask the follow-up questions in the scoping conversation.

How do milestone payments work?

The written quote splits the project into milestones tied to delivered work, and each milestone is invoiced when it is delivered and accepted. You are not asked to pay the whole project up front. The exact schedule is in the quote.

What if my requirements change midway?

That is normal. We keep a written backlog, and a change inside the agreed scope is simply reordered. A change that adds work is estimated first and you decide whether to add it, swap it for something else, or leave it for later.

Will I see the software before it is finished?

Yes. Each sprint ends with a working build in a staging environment that you can use. You also get repository access from the start. You do not have to wait for the end to find out whether the product is going the right way.

Who is on the project?

Senior engineers do the work, led by a tech lead who reviews each change. Larger builds add QA as needed. You will always know who your day-to-day contact is, and we can arrange a call with the engineers on request.
